Since its inception in 1982, each year the Georgetown Leadership Seminar has brought rising leaders from around the world to the School of Foreign Service for a week of seminars and discussions on international affairs. Bankers and parliamentarians have engaged generals, academics, lawyers, media professionals and journalists over issues as diverse as the environment, nuclear proliferation, foreign assistance, and Middle East conflicts (http://gls.georgetown.edu)
This year, speakers include Madelaine Albright and other experts on foreign policy, international trade, environment, the middle east amongst others.
